Since 2020, 27 states across the nation have enacted new voter suppression laws. Now, a majority of voters may have a harder time casting their ballots by mail and in person.
To combat far-right Republicans’ voter suppression, we need to expand voting rights at the federal level – and we can start by passing the Election Day Act, which would make Election Day a national holiday and give Americans the day off to vote!
The Election Day Act was introduced with bipartisan support, but we still need voting rights advocates in every state to urge their members of Congress to support this bill.
